WavPort®

WavPort®, utilizing Pulsar's patented technology platform (patent no. US 6,853,714, B2), is the first and only voice-activated and web-provisioned, carrier-grade telecom infrastructure platform available today. The WavPort® platform is a suite of migrating, integrated and voice-enabled products and application servers that supplies end users with the most comprehensive level of telephony call control and advanced applications possible.

The patented WavPort® architecture is software-based, enabling the provisioning of individual product components 'a la carte', providing essential reliability while protecting existing infrastructure investment. Utilizing WavPort®, both Tier 1 and smaller carriers can cost effectively sell voice and integrated web applications to create or increase subscriber revenues, regardless of underlying network architecture. This also provides carriers with the means of incorporating the most intuitive telephone user interface possible - a person's voice - into their networks. WavPort® empowers carriers to provide truly differentiating advanced services and applications that are, for the first time, affordable to subscribers.

WavPort® products and services are deployed within the telecom carrier network, communicating with both existing infrastructure (PSTN, wireless) and newer, next generation packet-based networks (IP, ATM). Voice and data calls can be transported through Pulsar's PNX platform, or through other network hardware platforms. Using WavPort®, network call routing, call control, signaling, and other network-based calling features are supported by the industry's only voice-activated infrastructure platform.

WavPort® enables carriers to tap into exclusive Pulsar technology to create new revenues and margins by fulfilling the desire of callers to access robust, advanced calling features and benefits without all the traditional subscriber resistance to touch pad control.
