The WavPort® Recording Services Feature Server can be provided as an individual service component or as part of the WavPort® Personal Assistant. This feature provides various levels of user-controlled call recording, including all calls or selective, on-demand recording of individual conversations. Playback capabilities are similar to the WavPort® Unified Messaging Voice Mail feature - all activated by the user's voice.
Additionally, larger applications of this feature are available to enterprises that wish to incorporate Web-activated and voice-activated, on-demand call recording for use by call-center employees or other personnel.
WavPort® Recording Services provides a wide range of recording and playback options. Beyond voice dialing, WavTalk provides subscribers with access to all common calling features without "touch pad trauma":
- Recording On-demand - Record a conversation at will, while a call is in progress
- Record All Calls - Record all calls, or calls based on various user-defined criteria, such as incoming caller-ID or account number
- Playback Recorded Calls - Playback of calls is through voice-commands or via the Internet. Playback commands consist of play, pause, fast-forward, rewind, replay, and delete.
- Other Playback Media - The WavPort® Recording Service also can optionally supply a copy of recorded conversations to a subscriber through various media, including audiotape, a WAV file downloadable over the Internet, or even transcription.
